History & Experience

 

Earl is the team leader and President of New Horizon Realty Group, Inc. and a Naval Academy Graduate, has been in real estate since 1995 where he began his real estate career while still active duty in the U.S. Navy as a pilot.. After 22 years and retiring at the rank of Commander from the service May 1, 1996, Earl quickly established himself as a top producer earning "Rookie of the Year" award while having his license with Judy Boone Realty. In his early years in real estate, Earl specialized in Ocean View and Willoughby area waterfront properties in Norfolk, Virginia. He resided there for several years. Still active in that market, Earl has expanded knowledge in most all cities of Hampton Roads working with buyers and sellers in residential property sales and has won numerous top producer sales awards in the Circle of Excellence in the local Hampton Roads Realtor's Association.

 

Earl and his wife, Debra, both Realtors, met and became a team combining their individual talents in real estate to create new innovative programs to better service their clients. One unique niche that they are developing is to continue to grow in their knowledge on how to help consult others on how to create wealth and utilize untapped resources by investing in Real Estate through a Self-Directed IRA.

 

Military Relocation & Family Values

 

Earl's military experience uniquely qualifies him in understanding and meeting the needs of our active duty military and their families, whether relocating to the area or leaving the area, Earl loves working with our military families. Earl is the proud father of two successful children - his daughter who is a Physician's Assistant living with her husband in Florida and of his son, a mechanical engineer, living with his wife and two sons in Louisiana.

 

Earl & Debra have a family pet, Chloe, their miniture poodle who cuddles up next to them when they are working from home and greets them with excitement when they return home from a day of hard work.

Snow skiing, traveling, outdoor activities, exercising (when time allows), learning and sharing with others to help others enrich their lives is among the treasures of lifes' many experiences. History & Experience

 

Debra's background before real estate was law firm management where she implimented many systems for efficient management in a start up law firm that grew into a successful business in a few short years. She managed all employees, set up systems, training, and a case management system to give admin support to all employees and attorneys in the law firm.

 

Debra started her career in real estate in 1998 and met Earl early in her real estate career and became a member of his team. They combined their individual talents to create more innovative programs to help buyers and sellers and created synergy that their clients appreciate.

 

RE/MAX Allegiance - Director of Career Development

 

Debra & Earl moved to RE/MAX Allegiance in October 2004,where there was so much available to them to help them better serve their clients and customers.  Debra became the Director of Career Development recruiting for the #1 Selling RE/MAX company worldwide until late 2007 to help others in real estate make career changes.  Debra continues working with her team to introduce new marketing programs and strategies in an ever changing market and supports her team behind the scenes with marketing, websites, systems, and an enthusiam for the industry. She is also a Realtor and member of the Hampton Roads Realtors Association, State and National Realtor's associations and continues her real estate education in a market that demands Realtors to stay competitive.

 

Family Values and Community Involvement

 

Debra has two lovely daughters and two grandsons who live locally as does her parents. Debra was the oldest of four siblings who also live in the area with their children and families and she is the daughter of a retired U.S. Air Force father who served his country in the military service for 20 years before retiring at Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, Virginia. Debra says that every father should be modeled after her father. Hampton Roads has been Debra's home since she was a child and she has volunteered her time to help families going through domestic struggles at the Virginia Beach Juvenile and Domestic District Court in the Family Advocate Network System (FANS), volunteered to help the Virginia Beach Police Department in hiring of new recruits by participating in the B-PAD testing, and has volunteered her time to the Lyme Regis Condo Association to help increase property values and a bring a better quality of living to the residents. She introduced the Neighborhood Watch Program to the neighborhood residents. Debra loves people and loves to find ways to enrich the lives of others.

 

Hobbies and Other Interests

 

Excercising, snow skiing, bike riding, swimming, exploring new ideas and challenges, creating new opportunities, traveling, reading, books on tape, playing with her dog and grandsons, watching a good movie, sitting outside with friends and family on a cookout really is living life to the fullest. Debra loves a good dinner with waterfront views and spending quiet time with Earl too!

Experience

 

Chloe has been with Earl & Debra's team for nearly two years. Still wet behind the ears when she joined them at about 7 weeks old, she's become quite experienced as a back warmer in the computer chair. She has experience also as a lap dog. She's been very good about picking up papers and dropped business cards and keeps us smiling by entertaining and greeting us when we get home from a hard day's work. Nobody gets by her without a friendly welcome and dance.
